It's no secret that Volkswagen is working to bring a four-seat electric vehicle based on the Up! family of small cars to market in 2013. According to Drive Solar, the concept version of that car that will be on display in Frankfurt this week has been christened the e Up! The new VW EV will likely have a range of about a 60-70 miles and an electric motor with hp output of around 81-85, perfect for in-city driving but not much else. We've been seeing the Up! concept since 2007, and we're glad to see some forward movement on the design and powertrain. Thanks to Siggy for the tip!
