Feds subpoena Toyota documents over Prius recall, more

While the vehicles themselves are quickly being fixed, Toyota is not out of the woods yet with the Prius recall (and the other recalls). Today, the automaker said it has received two subpoenas – one from a New York grand jury and another from the Los Angeles office of the Securities and Exchange Commission – over documents covering the Prius braking problems and the unintended acceleration issue seen in some Toyota vehicles. Toyota is preparing responses and said it will cooperate with the subpoena.
