Extra blog creep, as if there isn't enough reposting with the "carousel" of stories on the top, "breaking news" promo, and popular/breaking/featured stories along the side.
Instead of producing more compelling content lets monetize stale posts.
Blogs like this have become an orgy of navel gazing as they try to trap viewers into generating additional page-views, its a wonder that people can even stand to read them.
