World-famous DJ David Guetta is quite the deal maker. In his latest video, for his hit song "Where Them Girls At," he arranged to advertise an Ice Watch wristwatch, a Sony Ericsson Xperia Play smartphone and – oddly – a quirky Renault Twizy Z.E.

The Twizy's strange product placement – it doesn't really appear in the video so much as the video pauses to show an animated billboard ad for the car – is kind of befitting the quirky car, but the message is strange. As you can see in the video after the jump (the Twizy shows up at 3:10), the video's implies that Guetta's music somehow, magically attracts lots of beautiful people (mostly women). Wouldn't it make sense to have at least one of them actually arrive at the party in a Twizy? Of course, maybe Guetta just doesn't want to show anyone driving the car – since he recently lost his driver's license, for life.

Nicki Minaj and Flo Rida also make appearances in the video, but they don't feel completely disconnected from the video as a whole, since they perform on some of the verses. Overall, the video is silly and overproduced, but we think it's the first time an all-electric vehicle has been promoted in a music video. Other green cars, like Neil Young's LincVolt (R.I.P.) and the Toyota Prius have been involved before. When will the Nissan Leaf make an appearance?
