John Beltz Snyder enjoys the interesting challenge of balancing his love of the automobile with a sense of responsibility toward the environment. He worked at Winding Road for about five years, where he regularly regaled his coworkers Miersma, Ewing and Turkus with stories of his beloved pets, and argued over the finer points of writing and editing. He lives in Michigan, where he spends half the year looking forward to driving in the snow. He and his wife, Catheryn, own Perpetua Boutique Organique in downtown Ann Arbor.
