Report: Toyota considering Prius recall over brake problems

Back in 2006, Toyota recalled around 320,000 Prius models over a steering problem. That was a big deal, but it might be a footnote compared to a recall being considered for the latest Prius models over a problem with the brakes. While the number of hybrid vehicles affected will be slightly lower – the WSJ says that Toyota has sold 311,000 third-gen Priuses – the impact will likely be bigger because of all the interest in the Toyota recall story that's been making such waves recently.
