Report: Volvo expected to announce expansion of C30 electric test program

Sometime before week's end, Volvo is expected to announce that, in addition to the previously scheduled 250-vehicle test program of its C30 DRIVe Electric that will take place in Sweden and Belgium starting in mid-2011, the automaker intends to build "at least" 1,000 more units to partake in expanded trials in the U.S., Europe and China.
