Citroen unveils new new 3.0L V6 diesel, more power, less fuel

Citroen is replacing its existing 2.7-liter diesel V6 with a new 3.0-liter model that, thanks to the latest technology, allows it to make more power from less fuel. That also means it emits less CO2 along the way. Output in the new engine goes from 208 hp to 240 hp. The 3.0-liter with a 6-speed automatic transmission is available in both the C5 and C6 models and earns a combined rating of 31.6 mpg (U.S.) on the EU drive cycle, an impressive feat for these large cars.
