DaimlerChrysler expanding their plug-in hybrid program

DaimlerChrysler announced they are expanding their plug-in hybrid development program and building new vehicles based on the redesigned 2007 Dodge Sprinter van. There are already four of the original versions built on the previous Sprinter platform in customer service and twenty new vehicles will be built and distributed to fleets over the next twelve months.
