2010 Mazda3 gets earns EPA SmartWay designation

The latest car to qualify for SmartWay designation from the Environmental Protection Agency is the 2010 Mazda3. The EPA assigns scores of 1-10 for all new cars based on pollutant emissions and greenhouse gas emissions. To qualify for SmartWay designation, the car has to get a combined score of at least 13 and a 6 out 10 for at least one of the two.
