New senior director, Donald Foley, joins Auto X Prize Foundation

Here's a name we're likely to see a lot more of in the coming years: Donald Foley. The Automotive X Prize foundation announced today that Foley, a long-time public relations guy, has joined the team and will be to "advise the X PRIZE Foundation's communications, marketing and government relations efforts on current and planned competitions." According to AXP (see after the jump), Foley has two decades of experience on Capitol Hill, so he's got to have a lot of contacts that can be milked to get the word out on the prize.
