Ford claims 1,000 Fiesta reservations in first week; analysts already warn of possible small car oversupply
The new Ford Fiesta starts at $13,320 (plus a $675 destination charge) and that price fits the budgets of at least 1,000 early adopters. Ford announced today that it has received over 1,000 reservations for the new small car in the first six days that they have been taking them. Perhaps due to the six-month-long Fiesta Movement that got word out about the car, people who reserved a car will now be given a VIP experience at Ford dealers when (if?) they go to actually buy the car.
