Ford prepping for 20 home trials of the Focus BEV in London
Electric vehicle fans, London is calling. Ford is looking for 20 volunteer households in the Hillingdon Borough to drive an all-electric Focus for three months next year. Starting early in 2010, the borough will install a local charging infrastructure, and the Focus drivers will be expected to take part in research testing the car and the grid. Ford will provide five Focus BEVs for the test, which is part of the UK Government's "Ultra-Low Carbon Vehicles" demonstration that will take place next year. Here in the U.S., Ford is using the ...
