Not coincidentally, Casey's home state of Pennsylvania happens to be facing a slew of layoffs and factory closures from Harley-Davidson, America's largest motorcycle manufacturer. Casey points to both the troubles of American motorcycle manufacturers and the powersports ... Read more →

Have you always wanted a Harley, but all you could afford was a Huffy? 2 years ago on Autoblog Green
Remember not too long ago when we told you about how the National Federation of the Blind said that all vehicles, powered by gasoline, diesel, electric or a hybrid, should make sound so that blind people know they are coming? Harley-Davidson has long pioneered... well, nothing new to be honest. But, that is not necessarily a bad thing in the eyes of their customers. I tend to agree that when a design works, there is no good reason to change it. That seems to be the design theory over at Harley-Davidson. They have been ...
Harley now fuel injected across the entire line to reduce pollution, but do the bikes still sound like Hogs? 2 years ago on Autoblog Green
No more carburetors on Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Down deep in a review of the new Harley-Davidson Nightster (shown) is a note that the company is now 100 percent fuel injection. The Sportster line, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary as a H-D brand, no longer uses a carburetor. Even as the ...

Triazuma, Quadrazuma (click here for Autoblog coverage) and GG-Quad (here for Autoblog)? What do they all have in common, besides the sorta-funny names? These are all vehicles which are based on motorcycles, but with more than the standard two wheels. None of these machines leans, and it is clear ...
