New York Auto Show: clean diesel Jetta SportWagen coming to us in 2008

The popular Jetta shows its makeover in the Empire State, en route to the rest of America. The Jetta SportWagen debuts in the U.S. at the New York International Auto Show this week, and the diesel version is coming to stateside dealerships in early 2008. The Jetta is VW's best-selling model, and will be available with one of three engines: a 2.5-liter, five cylinder producing 170 (available in August) a 2.0T, four cylinder with 200 hp (after that) and the 2.0L clean diesel engine in 2008.
