Taiwan to replace all traffic lights to LEDs within three years

Have you ever stopped to consider just how many traffic signals there must be in the world? I have no idea, but I know it has got to be a huge number. You are probably aware that CFL light bulbs, those funky twisty ones, use less energy than incandescent bulbs; you may also know that LED's, or light emitting diodes, are even better.
