Mercedes adds two new BlueEfficiency GLK models

Mercedes Benz is adding two new BlueEfficiency variants to is compact GLK crossover. Both are powered by versions of Mercedes' new 2.2-liter four cylinder diesel engine. The rear wheel drive 220 CDI gets the 170 hp variant while the all wheel drive 250 CDI 4Matic gets the more powerful dual turbo 204 hp unit. The RWD 220 gets as much as 39.2 mpg (U.S.) combined on the EU driving cycle with CO2 emissions of 158 g/km. This model can get to 62 mph in 8.5 seconds.
