New 90 hp MINI One D debuts in Europe this fall with 60.3 mpg (U.S.) on EU test
In North America, the Cooper represents the entry point to the MINI lineup, but Europeans have always had the option of the MINI One. Until now however, the MINI One has used gasoline engines. That will be changing come September when the MINI One D goes on sale with a 90 hp version of the 1.6-liter four cylinder diesel that is already available in the Cooper D.
