Solar car ready to promote alternative transportation in Philippines

Students and faculty members from De La Salle University-Manila have developed a solar-powered car named Sinag. Made from carbon fiber and Nomex, the lightweight speedster will compete in the World Solar Challenge and help promote the use of alternative sources of energy.
