Shanghai 2009: Roewe 750 Hybrid and EV

In addition to the hydrogen fuel cell drivetrain that we saw the other day, China's Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp (SAIC) is also experimenting with hybrid and fully electric powertrains in its Roewe 750 sedan. Not surprisingly, SAIC is working with corporate partner General Motors on the hybrid system, which is very closely related to GM's own mild hybrid system and is supplied by American auto parts supplier Delphi.
