Touareg TDI V6 pricing leaks out, will start at $42,800

Volkswagen's new Touareg V6 TDI may or may not be making its official debut this week in LA. However, pricing information for the diesel SUV does appear to have leaked out onto the web. If accurate, the Touareg TDI will start at $42,800. That's a $2,500 premium over the existing 3.6L V6 gas engine version. That's a slightly higher premium than the Jetta TDI which runs $2,000 over the similarly-equipped gas Jetta.
