Toyota has covered long distances in its hydrogen fuel cell vehicles before, going from Osaka to Tokyo (347 miles) in a Highlander FCHV in 2007 and also going 2,300 miles (with refueling) from Fiarbanks, Alaska to Vancouver that same year.
