Toyota says no to diesel electric hybrids

Toyota's plans to mightily increase the number of hybrids it sells each year will not include diesel. Even though Peugeot is pushing diesel-electric hybrids, Toyota announced the other day that the company would not be investing in vehicles with powertrains that combine the two.
