Audi will build new entry level A1 model

New Audi Boss Rupert Stadler, has confirmed that they will build a new entry level car to take on the Mini. The new A1 is projected to sell in volumes of about 100,000 units a year, starting in 2009. The car is expected to be built in the VW Group's Brussels plant that until recently built Golfs. Golf production was shifted back to Wolfsburg, but the new car expected to save 2,200 jobs in Belgium.
