Audi prices Q7 TDI, qualifies for $1,150 tax credit

Audi has just announced the price for its new Q7 TDI SUV here in America. The 2009 Audi Q7 TDI Premium will carry a base price of $50,900, plus a destination charge of $825, taxes, title and dealer charges. That's a pretty hefty sum, but it might be made (very) slightly more palatable by a $1,150 Alternative Motor Vehicle Credit, which the IRS has granted the machine due to its fuel savings over a comparable gas-powered model.
