Audi pulls out of ALMS for 2009, will only run Sebring, Le Mans
When Audi announced its 2009 motorsports plans at the Essen Motor Show in Germany last week, one aspect was left out, the American Le Mans Series program. The debut of the new R15 TDI that will replace the three-year-old R10 will happen at the 12 Hours of Sebring in March. Unfortunately for ALMS fan,s that will be the last time we see the R15 on American tracks in 2009. The only other race planned for the R15 is at Le Mans in June.
