Audi adds the 1.4L TFSI engine to the A3 lineup

For the 2008 model year Audi is adding the Volkswagen's 1.4L TFSI engine to the A3 lineup. This is the first application of the smaller TFSI engines in an Audi vehicle. The A3 is getting the 125hp variant with direct injection and turbocharging. The TFSI A3 will be available starting in September from €21,350 and is rated at 36mpg (US). [Source: Audi] ...
