VW Race Touareg wins Baja 500 class on single tank of diesel

Click the photo for a high-res gallery of the Race Touareg in Baja Volkswagen has extended their demonstration of the performance and efficiency capabilities of their diesel engines from the race track to the Baja Peninsula. A pair of Race Touaregs that ran in the Dakar Rally last January made their North American debut this past weekend in the Baja 500.
