Yes! No! Maybe? Daimler and BMW still talking about next-gen A-Class

After reports earlier this summer that Mercedes-Benz and BMW might collaborate and use a common platform for the next-generation of the A-Class and the MINI were promptly denied, the story might be back on again. Mercedes needs to cut the manufacturing cost of the A and B Class models because the new models must be profitable, especially if Mercedes wants to move them into emerging markets like Russia and China.
