Newsflash: Turned in Cash for Clunkers cars will get recycled
Not every car becomes a flower bed when it dies. Now that the somewhat confusing Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS) program – also known as Cash for Clunkers – is about to start, the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) is reminding people what happens to the clunkers that will be turned in.
