First 2007 Caterpillar Engine with ACERT Technology begins production

Caterpillar Inc has just started production of its first U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certified 2007 model engine with ACERT Technology. The C7 engine is often used in medium-duty trucks including school buses, emergency vehicles and recreational vehicles.
