Volvo to introduce plug-in diesel hybrid in 2012

Several months ago, Volvo revealed a demonstration prototype of a plug-in hybrid car based on the current V70 wagon. Today, the Swedish brand announced that it would start building a production car with a plug-in hybrid diesel powertrain in 2012.
