Several 2010 GM models likely to get new direct injected 3.0L V6 and 2.3L I4

General Motors appears set to introduce two new direct injected engines to its lineup for the 2010 model year. A newly downsized 3.0L version of the 3.6L "high feature" V6 used across much of GM's lineup is set to launch in the redesigned Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac SRX and Chevrolet Equinox. The smaller V6 will get the direct injection system already offered in the premium versions of the 3.6L.
