Frankfurt 2009: Ford Focus ECOnetic gets down to 99 g/km of CO2
Ford has been offering a low CO2 ECOnetic version of the European Focus for over a year now, but a newly-refreshed version is being unveiled in Frankfurt this week. The main upgrade from the existing car is the addition of a new auto-start-stop system that helps drive down fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions from the already low 104 g/km to just 99 g/km.
