Porsche will cut CO2 emissions by 25% by 2012

At a technical briefing on the new Porsche Panamera this week in Germany, Wolfgang Dürheimer, EVP of Research and Development at Porsche talked about additional powertrains and CO2 reductions. On the question of downsizing engines for its cars, Dürheimer said that there were no current plans for smaller displacement conventional engines in the Panamera than the 4.8-liter V8.
