Europeans get their first crack at the Mitsubishi iMiEV as tests start

Mitsubishi has previously offered up its electric iMiEV for media test drives in Europe, but it hasn't conducted formal field trials. That is about to change as a dozen examples will go on test later this month. Five of the cars will be in England with the rest going to Holland, Norway and Spain. Several of these diminutive cars are also being tested here in the U.S., although Mitsubishi hasn't yet decided if it will offer the car for sale here after its Japanese and European launch.
