Report: Fisker will announce battery deal for Karma this week
Fisker Automotive did not have a booth at this year's Detroit Auto Show, but that doesn't mean they don't have news to share. Now that the unveilings are all finished in Cobo Hall, Fisker will soon tell the world what is happening with the batteries for the Karma, due in 2009 later this year. Until recently, Fisker was talking to Indiana-based EnerDel about supplying batteries for the Karma, but those talks have fallen through because EnerDel could not meet Fisker's production requirements, according to press reports.
