U.S. House of Representative moves ahead with clean energy legislation
With elections less than a month away, U.S. lawmakers are eager to show constituents some measure of success. Biofuels, especially ethanol, have proven popular recently, but there is a general push for alternative energies going on in American politics. At the end September, the U.S House of Representatives passed a bill, H.R. 6203, that gives support to all sorts of alternative transportation energy sources: plug-in hybrid vehicles, solar energy and biofuels.
