Volvo invests in a company that builds hybrid forestry trucks

You might not equate vehicles used for clearing forests with environmentally friendly technology. Nonetheless Swedish manufacturer El-forest AB has developed a hybrid drive truck for hauling logs out of the forest. Volvo has bought a stake in the company to help advance the cleaner, more efficient lumber haulers. That's Volvo the truck-maker, not the car brand now owned by Ford.
