Ibuyeco car insurance offsets 18,000 tons of CO2 in first three months

Ibuyeco is a green car insurance program that launched on World Environment Day (June 5) with a push from supermodel Laura Bailey and, according to the company, has managed to offset 18,000 tonnes of CO2 since that day. By charging a bit more than standard insuarnce, ibuyeco works with The CarbonNeutral Company to, oh, I suppose plant trees and whatnot.
