F3e Concept Electric Car Powered by Iron-based Battery
Chinese car-maker BYD showed off an electric car at the recent Beijing auto show called the F3e. The F3e bears a striking resemblance to a late model Toyota Corolla. BYD is evidently a major manufacturer of car batteries and this new car features an iron based battery that they claim can be recharged to 70 percent of capacity in only 10 minutes.
