Monaco post office buys electric vans

The Monaco post office has just purchased a pair of electric delivery vans from Newteon ecofriendly vehicles. Le Poste Monaco chose a pair of Electric Porter vans equipped with lithium batteries. Newteon offers the Porter with either lead acid or lithium phosphate battery packs. Both variants have top speeds of 70km/h (44mph) but the lead acid battery only yields about 44miles of range.
