Nissan and ECOtality will bring "electric vehicle corridor" to Arizona

Recently, ECOtality and Nissan announced the creation of an EV Micro-Climate Working Group in the Tucson, Arizona area. Nissan and ECOtality just announced they will expand their Arizona electric vehicle project to Phoenix. The Renault-Nissan Alliance will work with the Maricopa Association of Governments (and ECOtality, again) to promote an electric vehicle charging network with the goal to connect Phoenix and Tucson in an "EV charging corridor."
