Europe to introduce EURO 5 emission standards for motorcycles

Back in June of 2007, the powers-that-be in Europe officially introduced EURO 5 emissions regulations (.pdf link), and these standards are being phased into effect this year and next. Two-wheeled vehicles, such as mopeds, scooters and motorcycles, were not included in these requirements. As of today, all cycles sold in Europe must meet the less-stringent EURO 3 standards.
