29 clean buses coming to North Carolina State University in August

North Carolina State University's transit fleet will be upgraded with a new "clean" fleet of 29 buses on August 9. The buses will use clean diesel technology - not a hybrid system - to reduce pollutants. The new buses cost $350,000 each and the new service provider is offering NCSU the chance to not pay for service that is late too often or if there are many complaints.
