Nissan introduces a hybrid Cabstar in Hannover

Nissan is going to the 62nd Hannover Motor Show with a new hybrid model aimed at the freight market: the mid-series Cabstar. This truck gets a hybrid powertrain by adding a lithium-ion power pack (codeveloped with NEC) to the standard 3.0-liter ZD30 150hp diesel engine. The coupling of the motor and the engine was developed with ZF.
