Pearl Jam shoots for zero net emissions from tours and businesses
Members of the rock band Pearl Jam – my absolute favorite band – announced last week that they've developed a Carbon Portfolio Strategy that should see the band's tours and businesses become zero emission affairs. The band's Strategy involves donating $100,000 to "organizations doing innovative work around climate change, renewable energy, and the environment", including Honor the Earth, Conservation International and seven others.
