ECD Ovonic founder Stanford Ovshinsky retires from his company

Chief Scientist and Technologist of Energy Conversion Devices Stanford Ovshinsky is retiring from the company he started with his wife Iris in 1960. As of August 31, Ovshinsky will no longer be an active employee for the first time in forty-seven years.
