Suzuki announces hybrids and CNG vehicles for India

Maruti Suzuki in India has announced ambitious plans for alternative powertrains for three or four models in the Indian market. Although the company aims for an all-electric model in the long run, the short term will see bi-fuel natural gas/gasoline powertrains available to take advantage of India's improved nationwide network of CNG-filling stations.
