Another thing to worry about gas guzzlers: the sin factor

And here we thought our CO2-emitting actions were only harming the Earth we can see. The Bishop of London declared recently that contributing to climate change – by driving gas guzzling SUVs, flying somewhere on vacation, or not being energy efficient at home – is sinful. The Sunday Times of London has an article on the Church of England's push to show that Christian morals include living green lifestyles. Richard Chartres, chair of the bishops' panel on the environment, told the Times that, "There is now an overriding imperative to walk more lightly upon the earth and we need to make our lifestyle decisions in that light. Making selfish choices such as flying on holiday or buying a large car are a symptom of sin". The Church of England will soon publish and distribute Treasures on Earth, a booklet on Christianity and environmental matters. The booklet gives green lifestyle tips and says carbon-offset programs are a start but not a long-term solution. The Queen and the Prince of Wales support Chartres' initiative.

So it's a SIN to fly in an airplane or have a big car. Good move, Church of England. Everyone knows Europeans don't like to take vacations anyway; this will make the CE even more popular and relevant than it is today.
Thankfully my intelligent, ambitious ancestors got the hell out off that island so that I don't have to give a crap what this inbred moron thinks.
